The default IP address of the router will be 192.168.88.1
The web port will be open on port 80, access available from any of the LAN ports, access via the WAN (Internet/PoE In) port will not be available.
The default login is admin/<blank>
(This means that there will not be a password)
Login is also available on Winbox, the Mikrotik application for managing their devices, you can also access the Mikrotik with it’s MAC address via Winbox.
The default configuration looks like this:

The first thing to do is remove all configuration so that we can build our own router, to do this navigate through winbox and head to: system > reset configuration > no defaults (tick) > reset configuration (button), to achieve the same in ssh: /system reset-configuration no-defaults=yes
